Flyout Navigation
With the use HTML, CSS and JavaScript, webFEAT can implement "Flyout Menus". With the use of a "Flyout Menu", a user points his/her cursor over a menu item, forcing a new box of links to appear next to the item which shows different options that a user can select. If the user proceeds to move the mouse onto a different link, the original menu disappears and a new one shows up. If a user moves the mouse completely out of the navigation area the flyout menu will disappear after a short delay.
The benefits to using a flyout menu: we can compress an ample amount of links into a smaller viewing area, thus making a more accessible and better user experience for the site visitor. Also, with the development of current technogies, even links that are temporarily being hidden behind the flyout functionality will be read by search engines, thus optimizing your site for search engine recognition.
